Production & Approvals

Deploying to production requires an additional approval step. This ensures critical infrastructure changes are reviewed before going live.

How It Works

  1. Developer selects PROD as the target environment in the deploy modal
  2. The deploy goes through the normal preview process
  3. Instead of immediate deployment, an approval request is created
  4. Platform Engineers and Owners receive a notification
  5. The approver reviews the configuration, compliance checks, and resource plan
  6. Approve to deploy, or Reject with a comment

The Approvals Page

Navigate to Approvals in the sidebar to see:

  • Pending approval requests
  • Approved / rejected history
  • Who requested, when, and what blueprint

Approval Policies

Configure approval rules in Settings → Approval Policies:

  • Require approval for PROD environments
  • Set minimum number of approvers
  • Define who can approve (Owner, PE, specific users)
